ACCOUNTABILITY
I work with my team to nurture a "Win as a Team" culture, where team members are rewarded for knowledge sharing and coaching individuals that are developing their skills, or those who just need a helping hand. Some individuals require more attention than others, but the one thing that I do to improve individual's performance is to trust them more.
STANDARDIZATION
I'm a big fan of Governance and Standard Operating Procedures. Creating a catalog of processes and templates requires a significant amount of effort, but in my opinion, organizations gets immediate return of this investment by improving the quality of the products, reducing processing times/frustration, and enhancing productivity.
SIMPLICITY
When possible, I add people from different backgrounds and styles to my projects; this helps maintaining balance and ensure solutions are not over-complicated. During brainstorming sessions, I tend to prioritize ideas that provide a leaner solution, and then tackle specific scenarios separately.
